DFS Furniture Plc has declared an interim dividend of 1.1p per ordinary share to be paid on 30 May 2024.
The DFS Furniture Plc directors have declared an interim dividend for the period ending 30 June 2024 of 1.1p per ordinary share to be paid on 30 May 2024. DFS Furniture plc shares will trade ex-dividend from 18 April 2024 and the record date will be 19 April 2024.
DFS Furniture Plc announce a final dividend of 3.0p
The DFS Furniture Plc Directors recommend a final dividend of 3.0p in respect of the financial period ended 25 June 2023, resulting in a total proposed dividend of £6.9m. Subject to shareholder approval it is intended that this dividend will be paid on 29 December 2023. DFS Furniture plc shares will trade ex-dividend from 30 November 2023 and the record date will be 1 December 2023. This dividend has not therefore been recognised as a liability in these financial statements.
DFS announce an interim dividend of 1.5p approved by the Board reflecting an anticipated 4.5p total full year dividend
The DFS Board has declared an interim dividend for FY23 of 1.5 pence per share (£3.5m total cost). This is based on an expected full year total dividend of 4.5 pence per share subject to meeting the midpoint of their £30-35m PBT profit expectation and reflects a 2.5x EPS cover. This dividend will be paid on 25 May 2023 to shareholders on the register on 14 April 2023.

The DFS Furniture Plc Directors recommend a final dividend of 3.7p in respect of the financial period ended 26 June 2022, resulting in a total proposed dividend of £8.9m. Subject to shareholder approval it is intended that this dividend will be paid on 29 December 2022. DFS Furniture plc shares will trade ex-dividend from 1 December 2022 and the record date will be 2 December 2022. This dividend has not therefore been recognised as a liability in these financial statements.
DFS Furniture Plc has declared an interim ordinary dividend of 3.7p per share
The DFS Furniture Plc Board has declared an interim ordinary dividend of 3.7 pence per share (11.2 pence total dividend payments over the last twelve months). In addition the Group will pay a 10.0 pence special dividend and repurchase for cancellation up to £25m of the Group's shares, with the buyback commencing immediately. The interim dividend of 3.7 pence per share and special dividend of 10.0 pence per share will be payable on 25 May 2022 to shareholders on the register on 8 April 2022.
DFS Furniture announce dividend to be reinstated with a proposed final payment of 7.5 pence per share
Last year the DFS Furniture Board took the decision not to recommend the payment of a dividend in order to support the Group's financial resilience. As set out in greater detail in the CFO's report, this year, as a result of their strong financial performance they will be recommending a final FY21 dividend of 7.5p per share.
DFS Furniture announce a maintained interim dividend of 3.7p declared
The Board remains confident in the Group's outlook. While they continue to operate outside their targeted dividend payout of 40-50% of underlying cash generation, based upon the Group's outlook, they are comfortable maintaining the interim dividend at 3.7 pence. As stated in their published Capital and Distribution Policy, should the outlook worsen and underlying cash flow generation not cover the current level of ordinary dividends, they would if necessary reduce or halt dividends. However, they expect profit and cash generation growth which should enable them to return to the targeted payout range in the foreseeable future.

The DFS Furniture Board has carefully considered the balance between regular dividends supported by the performance, expectations and capital needs of the Group and the return of capital where there is a surplus. They anticipate that value created over time will be delivered to shareholders through a combination of capital growth and dividends.
