Frequency Electronics, Inc. is engaged in the design, development and manufacture of precision timing, frequency generation and radio frequency control products for space and terrestrial applications. The Company segments include FEI-NY segment and FEI-Zyfer segment. The FEI-NY segment includes the operations of the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, FEI-Elcom Tech, Inc. (FEI-Elcom). Both the segment designs, develops, manufactures and markets precision time and frequency control products for various markets. The FEI-Zyfer segment, which operates out of California and its products incorporate global positioning system (GPS) technologies into systems and subsystems for secure communications, both government and commercial, and other locator applications. FEI-Zyfer’s products also incorporate precision time references for terrestrial secure communications and command and control, and frequency products that incorporate GPS technology.
