About Schroder Oriental Income Fund
Schroders is a family-controlled fund management Group. It was involved in investment Banking until the year 2000, but that was sold to leave the business to concentrate on fund management. The global asset management group has approximately £120bn under management and clients that include large corporations, local and public authorities, pension funds and charities, as well as high net worth individuals and retail customers.
The Schroders Oriental Income Fund investment objective is to provide a total return for investors primarily through investments in equities, and equity related investments, of companies which are based in or which derive a significant proportion of their revenues from, the Asia Pacific region and which offer attractive yields. The aim is to deliver a target initial yield for investors of 4.25 - 4.50 per cent.

Schroders announce an interim dividend of 37pence per share
The Schroders Board has declared an interim dividend of 37.0 pence per share (interim dividend 2021: 37.0 pence), amounting to £100.6 million (H1 2021: £101.3 million) in total. The dividend will be paid on 25 August 2022 to shareholders on the register at 5 August 2022.
Schroders Plc proposes a final dividend of 85p per share
The Shroders Board will recommend a final dividend of 85 pence (2020: 79.0 pence). This will bring the total dividend for the year to 122.0 pence (2020: 114.0 pence), which represents a 7% increase compared to 2020. The final dividend will be paid on 5 May 2022 to shareholders on the register on 25 March 2022.

The Schroders Board continues to maintain a robust capital position. Accordingly, and reflecting resilient financial performance, the Board will recommend to shareholders a final dividend of 79.0 pence (2019: 79.0 pence), which is unchanged from 2019. This will bring the total dividend for the year to 114.0 pence (2019: 114.0 pence). The final dividend will be paid on 6 May 2021 to shareholders on the register at 26 March 2021.

The Schroders group continues to maintain a strong capital position. Accordingly, and reflecting resilient performance, the Board has declared an unchanged interim dividend of 35.0 pence per share (H1 2019: 35.0 pence per share). The dividend will be paid on 24 September 2020 to shareholders on the register at 21 August 2020.
