Tyman Plc announce a final dividend of 9.5 pence per share (2022: 9.5 pence), equivalent to £18.5 million based on the shares in issue as at 31 December 2023, will be proposed at the Annual General Meeting (2022: £18.4 million). The total dividend declared for the 2023 financial year is therefore 13.7 pence per share (2022: 13.7 pence). This equates to a Dividend Cover of 2.2x, within the Group's target range of 2.0x to 2.5x adjusted EPS.

Tyman plc proposes a final dividend of 8.9p per share
The Tyman plc Board will propose a final dividend of 8.9 pence per share (2020: 4.0 pence), equivalent to £17.4 million based on the shares in issue as at 31 December 2021 at the Annual General Meeting (2020: £7.8 million). The total dividend declared for the 2021 financial year is therefore 12.9 pence per share (2020: 4.0 pence), reflecting a return to the Tyman plc Group's progressive dividend policy after a pause in 2020 due to COVID-19 uncertainty.

Due to the continued strength of performance and confidence in the outlook, the Tyman PLC Board is reinstating their dividend in line with the Group's progressive dividend policy. An interim dividend of 4.0 pence per share will be paid on 10 September 2021 to shareholders on the register at close of business on 6 August 2021. This represents growth of 4% compared to H1 2019.

As a result of uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tyman PLC Board took the decision to cancel the 2019 final dividend of 8.35 pence per ordinary share that was proposed with the 2019 results announcement on 5 March 2020. Furthermore, no interim dividend was declared in 2020. As a result of the strong performance in the second half of 2020 and the robust balance sheet position, the Board considers it appropriate to declare a modest final dividend for 2020. A final dividend of 4.0 pence per share (2019: nil pence), equivalent to £7.8 million based on the shares in issue as at 31 December 2020, will be proposed at the Annual General Meeting (2019: £nil). The total dividend declared for the 2020 financial year is therefore 4.0 pence per share (2019: 3.9 pence), an increase of 2.6%. This equates to a Dividend Cover of 6.8x. The Board intends to return to a progressive dividend policy when conditions allow.

Tyman announce a final dividend of 8.35 pence per share (2018: 8.25 pence), equivalent to £16.3 million based on the shares in issue as at 31 December 2019, which will be proposed at the Annual General Meeting (2018: £16.1 million). The total dividend declared for the 2019 financial year is therefore 12.20 pence per share (2018: 12.0 pence), an increase of 1.7%. This equates to a Dividend Cover of 2.25x, at the mid-point of the Group's target range of 2.00x to 2.50x.
