About Flowserve Corp.

Flowserve Corporation, incorporated on May 1, 1912, is a manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of flow control systems. The Company's segments include Engineered Product Division (EPD), Industrial Product Division (IPD) and Flow Control Division (FCD). The Company's geographic segment includes North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, and Latin America. The Company develops and manufactures precision-engineered flow control equipment integral to the movement, control and protection of the flow of materials in its customer's critical processes. The Company's product portfolio of pumps, valves, seals, automation and aftermarket services supports infrastructure industries, including oil and gas, chemical, power generation (including nuclear, fossil and renewable) and water management, as well as certain general industrial markets where its products and services add value. The Company offers a range of aftermarket equipment services, such as installation, diagnostics, repair and retrofitting through manufacturing platform and network of Quick Response Centers (QRCs). The Company's products include oil and gas, general industries, chemical, power generation and water management.

Engineered Product Division

The Company's EPD is for long lead time, custom and other range of engineered pumps and pump systems, mechanical seals, auxiliary systems and replacement parts and related services. EPD also manufactures replacement parts and related equipment and provides a range of replacement parts, repair and support services. EPD products and services are used by companies that operate in the oil and gas, power generation, chemical, water management and general industries. As of December 31, 2016, the Company's products are manufactured at 32 plants. As of December 31, 2016, the Company has six unconsolidated joint ventures, located in China, India, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates, where a portion of its products are manufactured, assembled or serviced in these territories. As of December 31, 2016, the Company manufactures more than 40 active types of pumps and approximately 185 models of mechanical seals and sealing systems.

The Company's EPD product types include between bearings pumps, overhung pumps, positive displacement pumps, mechanical seals and seal support systems and specialty products. The Company's bearing pumps include single case-axially split, single case-radially split and double case. The Company overhung pump has active pharmaceutical ingredient process. The Company's positive displacement pumps include multiphase and screw. The Company's mechanical seals include gas barrier seals and dry running seals. The Company's specialty products include nuclear pumps, nuclear seals, power recovery-hydro turbine, cryogenic pumps, energy recovery devices and hydraulic decoking systems, among others. The Company's EPD brands include Byron Jackson, Niigata Worthington, Calder Energy Recovery Devices, Cameron, Pacific and Durametallic, among others. The Company's EPD service personnel provide a set of equipment services for flow management control systems, including installation, commissioning, repair, diagnostics, re-rate and retrofit programs, machining and asset management solutions.

Industrial Product Division

The Company's IPD designs, manufactures, distributes and service pre-configured engineered pumps and pump systems, including submersible motors, for industrial markets. As of December 31, 2016, the Company's products are manufactured in 20 manufacturing facilities. As of December 31, 2016, the Company manufactures approximately 40 active types of pumps, which are available in a range of metal alloys and non-metallics. The Company's IPD product types include overhung, between bearings, specialty products, vertical, positive displacement and vacuum systems.

The overhung product has Industrial Process and Slurry and Solids Handling. The between bearings include Side Channel Multistage, Segmental Channel Multistage, Single Case-Axially Split and Single Case-Radially Split. The specialty products include submersible pump, thruster, geothermal deep well, barge pump and sewage submersible. The vertical products include deep well submersible motor, slurry and solids handling, sump and vacuum system. The positive displacement product has gear. The vacuum system product includes liquid ring and dry systems. The Company's IPD brands include Innomag, Worthington, Labour, Worthington-Simpson, Meregalli and Pacific, among others. The Company provides a range of aftermarket services including product installation and commissioning services, spare parts, repairs, re-rate and upgrade solutions, diagnostics and maintenance solutions.

The Company competes with ITT Industries, KSB Inc. and Sulzer Pumps.

Flow Control Division

The Company's FCD is for engineered and industrial valves, control valves, actuators and controls and related services. The Company's products are used in a range of applications, from general service to the most severe and demanding services, including levels of corrosion, extreme temperatures and/or pressures, zero fugitive emissions and emergency shutdown. The Company's product types include Ball Valves, Intelligent Positioners, Gate Valves, Electric/Electronic Actuators, Globe Valves, Pneumatic Actuators, Check Valves, Hydraulic Actuators, Butterfly Valves, Diaphragm Actuators and Lined Plug Valves, among others. The Company's FDP product brands include Atomac, Nordstrom, Automax, Durco, Serck Audco, Edward, Schmidt Armaturen, Flowserve and Valbart.

The Company competes with Pentair Ltd., Schlumberger, Emerson Electric Co., General Electric Co. and Crane Co.
