About McCormick & Co., Inc.

McCormick & Company, Incorporated, incorporated on November 30, 1915, is engaged in manufacturing, marketing and distributing spices, seasoning mixes, condiments and other flavorful products to the food industry, including retailers, food manufacturers and foodservice businesses. The Company's segments include consumer and industrial. The Company is involved in the manufacturing and sales of flavorful products. The Company's sales, distribution and production facilities are located in North America, Europe and China. Its additional facilities are based in Australia, Mexico, India, Singapore, Central America, Thailand and South Africa.

Consumer segment

As of November 30, 2016, the Company offered brands for consumers in approximately 150 countries and territories. The Company's brands in the Americas include McCormick, Lawry's, and Club House, as well as brands such as Gourmet Garden and OLD BAY. The Company also markets regional and ethnic brands, such as Zatarain's, Stubb's, Thai Kitchen and Simply Asia. In Europe, and the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) the Company's brands include the Ducros, Schwartz, Kamis and Drogheria & Alimentari brands of spices, herbs and seasonings, and a line of Vahine brand dessert items. The Company markets products under the McCormick and DaQiao brands in China. In Australia, it markets its spices and seasonings under the McCormick brand and its dessert products under the Aeroplane brand. In India, its joint venture trades under the Kohinoor brand. The Company's customers span a range of retailers that include grocery, mass merchandise, warehouse clubs, discount and drug stores, and e-commerce retailers served directly and indirectly through distributors or wholesalers. In addition to marketing its branded products to these customers, the Company is also a supplier of private label items, also known as store brands.

Industrial segment

The Company provides a range of products to multinational food manufacturers and foodservice customers. The foodservice customers are supplied with branded, packaged products both directly and indirectly through distributors. The Company supplies food manufacturers and foodservice customers with customized flavor solutions. The Company's range of flavor solutions includes seasoning blends, spices and herbs, condiments, coating systems and compound flavors. The Company offers sensory testing, culinary research, food safety and flavor application.
