News Corporation is a media company whose divisions include Filmed Entertainment; Television; Cable Network Programming; Direct Broadcast Satellite Television; Magazines and Inserts. In December 2007, it bought the Wall Street Journal publisher Dow Jones.
News Corp pays a consistent, if not generous dividend. Recently they've upped the dividend in 2010 and 2011 but are not projected to do so again in the near future.
June 28th, 2013: The company ceased trading following a split into two new companies, one was 21st Century Fox and a new News Corp.
