The FTSE 100 is up over 50 points this week.
The past week has seen a moderate level of activity.
The week ahead sees little on the reporting front, but the ex dividend picture is strong;
Going ex dividend this coming Thursday with dividend yields in excess of 2% we have Dunelm paying a special dividend with a yield of 3.7%, Redrow (3.3%), Gateley (3.3%), Rank (3%), Crest nicholson (3%), Clipper Logistics (2.9%), BCA Marketplace (2.7%), Petrofac (2.4%), International Public Parnerships (2.2%), Drax (2.2%) and Epwin for 2.1%.

The FTSE 100 has a fairly good week and is up over 50 points as politics continues to dominate with defeats in the commons for the Prime Minister leading to the pound rising a couple of cents against the dollar and 6 cents against the Euro since the 6th August lowpoint.
