Friday Email: 28 March 2014

Every Friday morning our lead analyst Mark Riding sends out his weekly run-down and upcoming events in the investor calendar, like this one:

That was another relatively directionless week in the markets with the FTSE 100 having ended the week at pretty much the level it began.

The highlights of the week were Moss Bros (up 500%) and Bellway (up 78%) and shareholders in Wolseley and Kentz Corporation can be well satisfied from a dividend perspective as both increased by over 20% . I must say that the single payout from Moss Bros looks pretty attractive. I always think any single payout over 4% is worth a look and they are cash rich and the outlook is pretty good. There is plenty of time to let the shares settle following the resuls as they do not go ex-dividend until the 4th June.

The week ahead is very quiet.
