About AG Mortgage Investment Trust Inc

AG Mortgage Investment Trust, Inc. is a residential mortgage real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is focused on investing in a diversified risk-adjusted portfolio of residential mortgage-related assets in the United States mortgage market. The Company's objective is to provide attractive risk-adjusted returns to its stockholders over the long-term, primarily through dividends and capital appreciation. The Company's investment portfolio includes Residential Investments and Agency residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS). Its residential investments primarily consist of Non-QM Loans and GSE Non-Owner Occupied Loans. In addition to its Residential Investments, the Company may also invest in other types of residential mortgage loans and other mortgage related assets. The Company's investment portfolio also consists of Re/Non-Performing Loans, Land Related Financing and Agency RMBS. Agency RMBS represent interests in pools of residential mortgage loans guaranteed by a GSE.
