The FTSE 100 is down 41 points (0.41%) on the week. The S&P 500 is up 1.02% and the Stoxx 600 is down 0.21%.
The S&P 500 has risen 9.64% in the last month whilst the FTSE 100 has fallen 0.33%.
A fourth FTSE 100 company has become a takeover target in 2026 as KKR launched a bid for DCC. This follows bids for Schroders, Beazley and Intertek.
The past week has been relatively quiet from a reporting perspective in the U.K. but very busy in the U.S.
Going ex dividend this coming Thursday with yields in excess of 3% from the single dividend we have Enquest (3.8%) and Me Group International for 3.3%
