The FTSE 100 is up 65 points (0.65%) after a volatile week which saw a record high on Wednesday followed by a sharp fall since. The S&P 500 has fallen 2.14% and the Stoxx 600 is up 0.29%.
The past week has been quiet from a reporting perspective. Next week the reporting season kicks off with 10 of the FTSE 100 companies reporting. Barclays, B.P., Coca Cola HBC AG, Astra Zeneca, Unilever, British American Tobacco, Schroders, RELX, Barratt Redrow (Interims) and Natwest Group.
Going ex dividend this coming Thursday with yields in excess of 2% from the single dividend we have Oxford Metrics (5.5%) and Ramsdens Holdings for a 2.3% ordinary and a 0.5% special.
