The FTSE 100 has had a quiet week rising 9 points (0.11%). The S&P 500 has fallen 0.5% and the Stoxx 600 has fallen 0.47%.
The past week has been very quiet from a reporting perspective and it stays this way for the rest of the year and well into January.
This is usually a good time of the year for investors as markets tend to do well end-December and into January and February. However, this is by no means guaranteed as the Covid year was carnage from early February 2020.
