The FTSE 100 is up 191 points (2.48%) on the week. The S&P 500 is up 1.59% and the Stoxx 600 is up 1.94%
The past two weeks have been very quiet in terms of companies reporting but the markets have been strong and the number of companies going ex dividend has been high. This continues into next week. Companies going ex-dividend this coming Thursday with yields of 3% or more from the single dividend we have Genel Energy (7.2%), Wickes Group (5.1%), Vanquis Banking (4.5%), Vistry Group (4%) Quilter Plc (3.9%), Vesuvius (3.8%), Ibstock (3.2%), Cairn Homes (3.1%) and Genuit Group for 3%.
The week ahead remains quiet from a reporting perspective.
