Friday Email: 11 March 2022
Every Friday morning our lead analyst Mark Riding sends out his weekly run-down and upcoming events in the investor calendar, like this one:
The FTSE 100 has fallen 561 points (7.33%) in the past month as impact of covid has slowly waned to be replaced by the horror of what is going on in Ukraine. The Stoxx 600 has fallen 9% and the S&P 500 has fallen 3.6%.
We have reduced all Russian dividends to zero. Evraz has cancelled its recently declared dividend and today had its shares suspended.
The past couple of weeks has been very very busy from a reporting perspective and dividend declarations have been robust. The reporting season remains very busy until the end of March.
Going ex dividend this coming Thursday with yields in excess of 2% we have M&G (5.6%), Nat West Group (3.7%), Blackrock World Mining Trust (3.6%), Crest Nicholson (3.4%), Mti Wireless Edge (3.3%), Jardine Matheson (2.6%) and Anglo American for 2.3%.
The Friday email is delivered to over 20,000 subscriber’s every week, and remains a widely read run-down of recent events and what investors can expect in the week ahead written by our chief analyst Mark Riding.
It’s included as part of the free DividendMax trial.
