The FTSE 100 is trading up around 50 points this week.
The past week has been very busy. The rest of the year is very quiet from a reporting perspective, but December will be very interesting with the general election looming large.
Companies going ex dividend this Thursday with yields in excess of 2% include Town Centre Securities (3.8%), Halfords (3.1%), Royal Mail (3.4%), DFS (3.3%), Investec (2.5%), Britvic (2.2%) and Daily Mail & General Trust for 2%.
