Every Friday morning our lead analyst Mark Riding sends out his weekly run-down and upcoming events in the investor calendar, like this one:

The FTSE 100 is down roughly 60 points on the week.

The past week has been very very busy with hundreds of dividend declarations.

The week ahead is quieter although there are still plenty of declarations to come.

Going ex-dividend this coming Thursday with yields in excess of 2% we have Evraz (5.3%), Persimmon (5.1%), Rio Tinto (4.2% special and 3.1% ordinary), City of London Investment Group (3.3% special and 2.2% ordinary), RSA (2.7%), BHP (2.4%), VPC (2.6%) and Diversified Gas and Oil for 2.2%.
