Every Friday morning our lead analyst Mark Riding sends out his weekly run-down and upcoming events in the investor calendar, like this one:
The FTSE 100 has had another good week rising by around 80 points and is currently trading at an all time high of 7785 with the 8000 mark in sight.
The past week has seen a good level of activity with nine FTSE 100 companies having produced their annual results. DCC continued its impressive record of increasing its dividend and produced another good set of results.
The week ahead is also quite busy with plenty of companies reporting their numbers to the market. Going ex dividend on Thursday with yields in excess of 2% we have Soco International (4.5%), Manx Telecom (3.9%), Marstons (2.7%), Gattaca (2.2%) and John Menzies with 2.2%.
