Friday Email: 10 April 2015
Every Friday morning our lead analyst Mark Riding sends out his weekly run-down and upcoming events in the investor calendar, like this one:
The complete lack of corporate news so far in April prompted one of our members to aks me if his news feed was broken. Given that we only report news when results or dividends are declared I had a look and until the Bank of Georgia declaration on Thursday, we have has nothing since the 31st March.
The main excitement of the week was the bid by Shell for BG Group.
It does not get much better next week, but we do get final results from Manx Telecom, JD Sports Fashion and WH Smith. There are however plenty of companies going ex-dividend next week with the highest yielder being Amlin with an 18.9p ordinary dividend and a 15p special dividend for an overall yield of over 6%.
The Friday email is delivered to over 20,000 subscriber’s every week, and remains a widely read run-down of recent events and what investors can expect in the week ahead written by our chief analyst Mark Riding.
It’s included as part of the free DividendMax trial.
