Renault is an automotive constructor serving much of France and Western Europe. The bulk of its activities are in the sale of their vehicles.
Renault cut their dividend to zero in 2009 and 2010 (fiscal 2008 & 2009) but have since significantly increased the dividend since then, although are not expected to return to the 2008 levels in the near future. The dividend cover is high to support their aggressive return to significant dividend payouts.
Renault pay just one dividend per year, going ex-dividend in May.
