Grafton Group recommend a final dividend of 26.0p per share
The Grafton Group Board is recommending a final dividend for 2023 of 26.0p (2022: 23.75p) per ordinary share in line with its progressive dividend policy. An interim dividend of 10.0p (2022: 9.25p) per share was paid on 20 October 2023. The total dividend for the year is 36.0p per share, an increase of 9.1 per cent on dividends of 33.0p paid for 2022.

The Grafton Group Board has decided to pay an interim dividend for 2022 of 9.25p per share, an increase of 8.8 per cent on last year's interim dividend. The interim dividend is in line with the Board's guidance for full year dividend cover of between two and three times adjusted earnings and reflects the Group's strong balance sheet and profitability and cashflow from operations for the half year.

The Grafton Group PLC Board has decided to pay an interim dividend for 2021 of 8.5p per share in the amount of approximately £20.4 million. This interim dividend is in line with the Board's progressive dividend policy and reflects both the Group's strong profitability and cashflow from operations for the half year and its (pre-IFRS 16) net cash position at 30 June 2021.

On 24 March 2020, Grafton Group announced that, as a precautionary measure to preserve liquidity in light of Covid-19, it was suspending the second interim dividend for 2019 of 12.5p per share, which was due to be paid on 6 April 2020. On 21 January 2021, the Group announced the reinstatement of this dividend and it was paid on 19 February 2021 in the amount of £29.9 million.

Grafton Group plc have announced a second interim dividend of 12.5p (2018: 12.0p) which will be paid to give total dividends for the year of 19.0p representing an increase of 5.6 per cent on dividends of 18.0p paid for 2018. This increase is in line with the Board's progressive dividend policy and reflects both the Group's strong cashflow from operations for the year and its pre-IFRS 16 net cash position at the year end. Dividend cover was 3.5 times (2018: 3.5 times).
