About Hansteen Hldgs
Hansteen Holdings PLC is a REIT that invests in predominantly industrial properties across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and the UK with high yields, low financing costs and opportunity for value improvement.
The company is well positioned with a strong balance sheet, a high, diversified income flow, and real opportunities to grow income. In May 2011 Hansteen successfully raised £150 million by way of a fully underwritten Placing and Open Offer, significantly increasing the Group's acquisition capacity.
During 2010 Hansteen approximately doubled its portfolio by acquiring £460 million of property in ten transactions of which £289 million was invested in Germany and £171 million in the UK (including £84 million invested by the HPUT). At 30 June 2011 the value of our property portfolio (including HPUT) was £863 million.
