Lloyds Bank Group announce a final ordinary dividend of 1.84pence per share
The Lloyds Banking Group Board has recommended a final ordinary dividend of 1.84 pence per share, resulting in a total ordinary dividend for 2023 of 2.76 pence per share, up 15 per cent on prior year and in line with the Group's progressive and sustainable ordinary dividend policy.

The Lloyds Banking Group Board has announced an interim ordinary dividend of 0.92 pence per share, an increase of 15 per cent, in line with the Board's commitment to capital returns. The Board intends to pay down to its capital target within the course of the current plan, by the end of 2024.

The Lloyds Banking Group has a progressive and sustainable ordinary dividend policy whilst maintaining the flexibility to return surplus capital through buybacks or special dividends. The Lloyds Banking Group Board intends to pay down to its capital target within the course of the current plan, by the end of 2024.

Lloyds Banking Group Plc have announced an interim dividend for 2022 of 0.80 pence per ordinary share will be paid on 12 September 2022. The Group is strongly capital generative, although this has been impacted by PPI in 2019. Given a strong capital position at the year end, the Lloyds Banking Board has recommended a final ordinary dividend of 2.25 pence per share, bringing the total ordinary dividend for the year to 3.37 pence per share. This represents an increase of 5 per cent on 2018 and is in line with their progressive and sustainable ordinary dividend policy. The Group's capital position remains strong with a pro forma CET1 ratio of 13.8 per cent after allowing for ordinary dividends.
