Computacenter plc proposed final dividend of 47.4p, increasing the full year dividend by 3.1% to 70.0p

Computacenter plc proposed a final dividend for 2023 of 47.4p per share (2022: 45.8p per share). Together with the interim dividend, this brings the total ordinary dividend for 2023 to 70.0p per share, representing a 3.1% increase on the 2022 total dividend per share of 67.9p. The firm has applied the Company's dividend policy, which states that the total dividend paid will result in a dividend cover of 2 to 2.5 times based on adjusted diluted EPS. In 2023, the cover was 2.5 times (2022: 2.5 times). Subject to the approval of shareholders at their Annual General Meeting on 14 May 2024, the proposed dividend will be paid on Friday 5 July 2024. The dividend record date is set as Friday 7 June 2024 and the shares will be marked ex-dividend on Thursday 6 June 2024.

Other financial highlights include: 

- Another record year of revenue, gross profit and adjusted EPS while continuing to invest for future growth

- Gross invoiced income of over £10bn, up 11.4%, driven by strong growth in Technology Sourcing and solid growth in Services, with gross profit up 10.2%

- Adjusted PBT up 5.4% reflecting higher levels of strategic investment; adjusted diluted EPS up 3.0%

- Excellent cash generation driven by effective inventory management with adjusted net funds increasing by £214.7m to £459.0m
